Integrity Does Not Have An Agenda.

WILLIAM ROBERT ARNOLD JR.
Biography
My name is William Robert Arnold Jr., and I am proud to be a Native Kansan my entire life and to have called Junction City my home since 2008. I moved here after being hired by the Junction City Police Department, where I served our community with dedication and integrity for nearly a decade.
During my time with the department, I worked in investigations from 2010 to 2016. I was honored to be named Officer of the Year in 2015 for my work on a child exploitation case in which the victim was a resident and was ultimately rescued. I also attained my Certified Forensic Computer Examiner credential, which I held from 2015 to 2021. My expertise allowed me to assist both the Junction City Police Department and the Geary County Sheriff's Office in solving complex cases involving technology and cellular devices during my tenure and after my departure.
After leaving the police department in good standing, I continued my commitment to justice and innovation by joining Cellebrite, a global leader in digital intelligence, where I currently serve as a Product Owner.
I am running for City Commission because our community deserves leadership that prioritizes collaboration over conflict. I am committed to being a voice of reason—someone who can represent all sides fairly while maintaining a clear focus on budget responsibility and ethical standards.
Morality, transparency, accountability, and strong ethics are core values that have guided me throughout my life and career. I bring those same principles to my campaign and my vision for Junction City’s future.

Living in Junction City

Living in JC
After living and working in Junction City for over 15 years, I’ve come to understand this community in a way that can’t be learned from the outside. I’ve worn the badge here, stood alongside neighbors during difficult times, and seen firsthand what matters most to the people who call this city home. When I left the Police Department, I could have moved elsewhere, but chose to stay because, believe it or not, for all its imperfections, I like it here! I’m not here for politics. I’m here because I care deeply about Junction City’s future, and I believe my experience, values, and leadership style make me the right person to help move us forward.
As a die-hard, bleed-purple Wildcat fan, I’ve long admired the values Coach Bill Snyder instilled in his players and the surrounding community. His lessons weren’t just about football; they were about life; some takeaways of mine included:
-
“Win at all costs” is far too expensive. Better to win ethically and with honor.
-
Get 1% better every day.
-
Do the right thing.
These principles are more relevant than ever in today’s political climate. I don’t just believe in them—I strive to live by them. And I will carry them with me as your representative on the City Commission.
William
Just "a guy"
When I’m not at home, I’m usually traveling for work (though running into Erik Estrada on a plane isn’t part of the usual itinerary). If I’m not on the road, you’ll probably find me in the gym, as I have found Physical Discipline brings about Mental Discipline.
At the end of the day, I’m just a guy. I enjoy a good cigar, a good whiskey, a solid book, and K-State football on a Saturday.

Running for local office isn’t about personal ambition—it’s about showing up for the people who live and work in this city. But getting the word out takes resources. Yard signs, flyers, website costs, and community outreach all add up.
Your donation—no matter the size—helps level the playing field. It ensures that my message of integrity, accountability, and honest leadership reaches every corner of Junction City.
